Who We Are

We are a gospel-centered community-based organization based in Tigoni, Kenya. Our mission is to conserve the environment by creating efficient waste management systems and educating communities on how to better care for the environment. We are a community of earth warriors seeking to create a lasting impact on the environment and on the people who inhabit it. Our strategy; take action and then equip and empower others to do the same.

Solid waste management remains a major challenge in all 47 counties in Kenya. 

At Friends of Creation, we realize that plastic still remains to be the most hygienic form of packaging due to it being light and inert; which is preferred for industrial use. As a result of the high volume of available recyclable plastic waste, we have the opportunity to take care of the environment while offering employment to hundreds of unemployed youths and impoverished communities.
